Kualoa
This piece was a project for my color theory class at SCAD demonstrating the Bezold Effect. We all chose one color that would be present in all 4 images, and each image was created using a different color family based on that color. The color I chose was green, and I used (from left to right) a split-complementary, analagous, tertiary, and complementary color palettes. The image I chose to recreate was from a photo I took at Kualoa Ranch in Honolulu, Hawaii. I visit Hawaii often as I have family that live there, and Kualoa ranch is one of my favorite places to go see. I chose to go beyond the project requirements and use the different color palettes to depict different times of day and show 4 distinct perspectives of the scene.
