About Me

I'm Clarisse Chiang, an animation major at Savannah College of Art and Design. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, but somehow can't stand the heat even after 20 years living with it. As an artist my passion is learning and sharing stories with a wider audience, whether that story is personal, fictional, or anything in between. That love of stories came from a childhood spent doing nothing but reading (I went around with my head down nose stuck in a book, just like we do with our phones nowadays), and a love of travel and learning about different cultures that came about after spending a year abroad in Italy. As I grew up, it seemed like the most natural thing for me to do with all of the stories I had in my head was to become an artist so I could learn to bring them to life.
